Using toolcollection.eu ("the Site") means you fully accept these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our tools.

Description of the service

The Site offers a collection of free web tools (timer, unit converter, CronTool, PDF Tools, File Converter and other tools that will be added over time). Most tools run client-side in the user's browser and require no registration; some, such as CronTool, PDF Tools and File Converter, process data server-side and may involve prepaid credit as described below.

Permitted use

The tools are provided for legitimate personal and professional use. It is prohibited to use the Site for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of third parties, or to compromise the operation of the Site or of systems connected to it.

No warranties

The Site and its tools are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any results before relying on them in critical contexts.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site's operator is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the tools offered.

Intellectual property

The code, design and original content of the Site are owned by the operator of toolcollection.eu, unless otherwise stated. Use of the tools for their intended purpose is permitted; unauthorized reproduction of the Site's source code or content is not permitted.

CronTool — additional terms

CronTool (/cron-generator/) lets you schedule recurring calls to a URL you specify. In addition to the general terms above, the following applies specifically to CronTool:

• Free tier. Accounts with no credit balance may run each job up to once per day, at no cost, without limit on how long the account is used.
• Prepaid credit. Credit added to your account is deducted per job execution according to the tiered pricing published on the CronTool page, is non-refundable, and does not expire.
• Immediate performance / waiver of withdrawal. By completing a purchase of credit, you acknowledge that the service (the ability to consume that credit) begins immediately, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal pursuant to Art. 59 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
• Your responsibility for scheduled URLs. You are solely responsible for the URLs you schedule and for ensuring you are authorized to send automated requests to them. You may not use CronTool to send excessive, abusive, or denial-of-service-like traffic to any target, whether or not you control it.
• Suspension for abuse. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate, without prior notice, any job or account that we reasonably believe is causing abuse, harming a third party, or violating these Terms, and to suspend jobs automatically when an account's balance is insufficient to cover their next scheduled run.

PDF Tools & File Converter — additional terms

PDF Tools (/pdf-tools/) lets you upload files to compress, merge, split or convert PDFs and images; File Converter (/file-converter/) lets you convert images between formats. Both process files on our servers, share the same prepaid credit wallet, and the following applies to both in addition to the general terms above:

• Free tier. Files up to 10MB may be processed at no cost, up to a limited number of operations per day per network (currently 3/day for PDF Tools, 5/day for File Converter). No account is required.
• Prepaid credit. Credit added to your ToolCollection wallet unlocks larger files and unlimited daily operations, deducted at a flat rate per operation (specific per-tool file-size limits and per-operation prices are published on each tool's page), is non-refundable, and does not expire. The wallet is tied to your browser via a cookie, not to an account or email address — clearing your cookies or switching browsers may make a remaining balance inaccessible.
• Immediate performance / waiver of withdrawal. By completing a purchase of credit, you acknowledge that the service (the ability to consume that credit) begins immediately, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal pursuant to Art. 59 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
• Your responsibility for uploaded files. You are solely responsible for the files you upload and must have the right to upload and process them. You may not upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or that you are not authorized to process.
• Temporary storage. Uploaded files and results are processed automatically and are available for download for a limited time (currently 1 hour) after which they are permanently deleted from our servers.

Advertising

The Site is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense ads and sponsored banners. Third-party advertising content does not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Site's operator.

Changes to the service and these terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, in whole or in part and at any time, the tools offered, as well as to update these Terms. Changes will be published on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law, except where mandatory local law applicable to the user's place of residence provides otherwise.
