Privacy Policy
Last updated: 02/07/2026
This policy describes how toolcollection.eu ("the Site") processes the personal data of visitors, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable data protection law.
Data controller
The data controller is the operator of toolcollection.eu, who can be contacted at: info@toolcollection.eu.
Data we process
Most tools available on the Site (timer, unit converter and others) run entirely client-side, in the user's browser: values entered into those tools are never sent to or stored on our servers. CronTool is an exception — see the dedicated section below.
The Site does, however, automatically collect some data:
- Browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and access times, collected via server logs for security and technical operation purposes.
- Cookies and similar technologies: technical cookies required for the Site to function and, subject to consent, third-party cookies for advertising purposes. See the Cookie Policy for details.
CronTool — additional data processing
CronTool requires an account and stores data server-side in order to operate:
- Account data: email address and a bcrypt hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Job data: the URL, HTTP method, headers and schedule you configure for each job, and a log of each execution (timestamp, HTTP status, response time, and the first 500 characters of the response body) used for troubleshooting and billing. If a URL you schedule returns personal data about a third party in its response, that data may be captured in this log; you are responsible for the URLs you schedule. Execution logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted.
- Billing data: your credit balance, usage/recharge ledger, and invoices, retained as long as required by applicable accounting and tax law.
- IP address, for login/registration rate-limiting (abuse prevention).
To provide the service, CronTool shares data with the following sub-processors: OpenAI (the natural-language text you enter when creating a job, to generate a proposed schedule), Brevo (your email address, to send account and billing emails), and Stripe (billing details necessary to process a payment; we never see or store your card details). Each acts under its own privacy policy as an independent data processor.
Advertising and third-party services
The Site hosts advertising spaces, including Google AdSense banners and sponsor banners such as mailprofessionale.com. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers to display relevant ads; for Google AdSense, Google's own privacy policy applies, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Legal basis and purposes
Processing of browsing data is based on the controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Site. Processing via non-essential cookies is based on consent given by the user through the cookie banner.
Data retention
Server logs are retained only for as long as strictly necessary for security purposes, generally no longer than 12 months.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to access your data, request its correction or deletion, restrict its processing, object to processing and, where applicable, request data portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@toolcollection.eu.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We encourage you to review it periodically to stay informed of any changes.
